Automatic braking Systems

There are many new modern features in cars today but one of the most talked about is automatic braking systems. These systems are likely to be introduced to many new vehicles, and they essentially include sensors, satellite and lasers to help save lives on the roads.

When the sensors see a possible danger and the driver has not reacted quickly enough by braking, the car will automatically apply the brakes. This can sound quite surreal but it has been tried and tested for numerous years, and many are calling this feature the ‘next seat belt’.

One day this system may be included on all modern cars, but there are doubters. Some feel as though it could cause more damaged then good, and it may mean people rely too heavily on electronic equipment. Only time will tell, but it could be one of the most important systems the next generation of cars.
